The Role

We're looking for a proactive and credible HR Advisor to support the HR Business Partner in delivering a high-quality generalist HR service. You'll play a key role in day-to-day HR operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives, people strategy, and employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers in line with policy, best practice, and employment law
  • Manage employee relations cases including absence, conduct, capability, and grievance
  • Support absence management plans and delivery of people KPI's
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and records, ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
  • Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and advise on outcomes
  • Support training compliance, engagement initiatives, and wellbeing activities
  • Assist with audits, ethical compliance, and Health & Safety initiatives
  • Champion company values, diversity, and employee engagement

About You

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Confident advising managers at all levels
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • CIPD qualified or working towards (desirable)
  • Experience in manufacturing or food industry (desirable)
