The Night Hygiene Operative is responsible for using appropriate chemical and cleaning techniques to achieve the agreed standards of plant hygiene. To meet essential Customer and Technical Standards for cleaning by ensuring equipment / Area is dismantled, re-assembled and cleaned to the correct standard.
Shift Patterns available:
- A shift: Sunday 18.00-02.00, Monday to Thursday 22.00-06.00
- B shift: Tuesday to Friday 22.00-06.00 hrs and Saturday 18.00-02.00 hrs
- C Shift: Friday and Monday 20.00-06.00, Saturday and Sunday 17.00-03.00 hrs
Location: Main Street, Anwick, NG34 9SL
Pay rate: £15.63 per hour. Paid breaks. Full time, permanent contract.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be conversant with the hygiene standards required.
- To be conversant with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations for handling and storage of chemicals to enable your duties to be carried out correctly.
- To clean the factory and equipment to agreed standards to maintain hygiene and product safety.
- To inform the Hygiene Line Controllers or Hygiene Operation Team Leaders if any defects with machinery or equipment is identified.
- To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
