Overview: Site Accountant (Temporary) – Department: Finance, Location: Grantham. We’re looking for a Site Accountant (Temporary) to support financial reporting and performance across our Grantham site within the Prepared Foods business. This is a hands-on role, providing accurate financial insight and partnering with operations to drive efficiency, cost control, and informed decision-making.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts
  • Analyse variances vs budget, forecast and prior periods
  • Produce and review site KPIs and performance reporting
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure strong financial controls, including SOx compliance and stock management
  • Reconcile balance sheets and support audit requirements
  • Provide financial insight to site leadership and wider business stakeholders
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting

What You’ll Bring:

  • Part‑qualified or qualified by experience (CIMA / ACCA / AAT)
  • Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills
  • Experience in manufacturing or FMCG finance (desirable)
  • SAP/ERP experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
