Shift Pattern
- Monday 09:00 - 16:00. Tuesday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00. Friday 07:30 - 16:30
Responsibilities
- Use power pallet trucks and Forklifts (Counterbalance & Reach).
- Take responsibility for the operation of delivery of components to areas for storage / use
- Scanning of components to relevant areas while eliminating errors in terms of stock control also carrying out stocktakes of ingredients / components.
- Loading and unloading deliveries to and from factory stores areas and trailers.
- Checking loads for validity, paperwork etc. and reporting of any errors / discrepancies found.
- Issuing goods to production as required and in correct stock rotation to minimise disruption / wastage.
- Working as part of a team with willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills.
- Be flexible and adaptable to change at short notice to work other areas within Stores.
- Be available to work overtime and weekends.
Requirements
- Previous forklift driving experience preferred.
- Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
