Our Agricultural team brings together specialists in veterinary care, technical support, field operations, and farm compliance - all working collaboratively to deliver excellence from farm to fork.
We are recruiting for a reliable and well organised Administrator - Boar Studs to support the operations of two boar studs in the UK and to provide administrative support to the technical and production teams. The role involves purchasing supplies, managing semen orders, coordinating delivery logistics and issuing sales invoices, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities- Procure supplies for both centres, including laboratory materials, PPE, packaging, and cleaning products
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Receive and process semen orders from customers
- Plan and coordinate delivery logistics, including route planning and scheduling drivers or couriers
- Prepare and issue sales invoices and delivery documentation
- Maintain accurate customer, order, and stock records
- Provide administrative support to technical and production teams
- Ensure documentation is properly filed and compliant with company procedures
You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy operational environment. You must be reliable and responsible and comfortable working with operational and technical staff.
Essential Skills & Experience- GCSEs or equivalent; further education in Administration, Business or Logistics is desirable
- Previous experience in an administrative, purchasing or logistics role
- Good IT skills, including spreadsheets and order/invoicing systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and drivers
- Experience in agriculture, livestock or veterinary-related businesses
- Experience with stock control systems or ERP software
- Understanding of basic transport or delivery planning
