Are you a hands-on engineering leader who thrives on improving reliability, performance, and safety? We’re looking for a Site Engineering Lead to take ownership of the maintenance and compliance agenda at our manufacturing site and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
The Role
You’ll lead the site Engineering function, ensuring equipment reliability and operational excellence through effective maintenance strategies, strong leadership, and collaborative partnerships with FM providers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the site maintenance strategy aligned to OPEX and reliability goals
- Manage planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance alongside minor capital projects
- Lead, develop, and upskill the Engineering team and oversee third-party partners
- Own maintenance budgets, contracts, KPIs, and CMMS performance
- Drive continuous improvement, asset reliability initiatives, and efficiency gains
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
About You
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or relevant degree
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leader with experience driving change and delivering results
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management, CMMS, asset reliability, and CI tools
- Commercially aware with proven budget and contractor management experience
- Clear communicator who works well across operations and support functions
