pstrongEngineering Supervisor (Days)/strongbr /strongLocation:/strong Spaldingbr /strongReports to:/strong Engineering Manager/ppThe key focus areas are as follows:/pul liCreate a maintenance plan each week for all PPM and corrective work orders and allocate engineers to the task/li liWorking closely with the engineers, store manager, Supervisors, team leaders and maintenance manager to ensure parts/materials are ordered to complete the jobs/li liOverseeing the abattoir and supporting the day shift engineers/li liCoordinate with OEMs on service contracts ensuring date and times are agreed throughout the year and communicate to the team/li liEnsuring accurate records are kept for all maintenance work completed/li liContinually review PPMs to meet site requirements to improve reliability/li liCarry out 5 why RCA and on major downtime to understand root causes and put in place permanent fixes/li liWork with store manager carry out stock criticality to ensure we have the correct spares for each asset/li liDrive continuous improvement to improve productivity and reliability on assets/li liManage PPM engineers to ensure they remain focused/li liProvide daily update on Maintenance compliance to the team and misses that need picking up/li/ulpstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pul liRecommend and carry out improvement projects to improve the reliability/safety of assets and increase uptime/li liCarry out 5 why and RCAs with team or support other team members RCA to ensure corrective actions are carried out./li liDrive continuous improvement projects within the team to improve productivity and reliability/li liContinually review PPMs follow break downs to ensure the work completed is adding value/li liTo adhere to the group health and safety policy, following all company policies and procedures that have been put in place to ensure your welfare and that of others. Being mindfully that health and safety is everyones responsibility/li liWorking in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc./li liManage PPM engineer and fabrication engineer ensure there role is focussed and adding value in the right areas/li liCreate the maintenance plan for the week ahead, working with all stakeholders to ensure priority work is planned./li liEnsure all paperwork is printed and ready for the week ahead including contractor paperwork/li liTrack the completion of the PMS plan and highlight any potential issues/li liCollect and check through work orders to make sure everything is complete and signed off./li liEnsure that all work requests are completed in a timely manner/li liUpdate outstanding work request work orders and report updated planned completion dates/li liEnsure all workorders requiring parts are ordered, work closely with the stores Manager to ensure the part is on order and plan in the work once this is delivered/li liKeep track of workorders that require parts to ensure parts are delivered and planned in so workorders can be closed out in a timely manner/li liEnsure all work requests are reviewed and planned in, working closely with the MM and ES to ensure any material or parts are ordered ready for the job and appropriate time planned to complete the job/li liTrack all open workorders on Holistech so we remain in control, and these are closed out in a timely manner/li liCreate report of open work orders and actions required to close out to ensure nothing gets missed./li liWork directly with OEMs on service contract planning ensuring work is planned in throughout the year to complete the service contract./li liKeep an accurate record of equipment serviced by OEMs/li liHighlight issues where the correct process has not been followed and proactively support the individual and train them on the correct process/li liSupport the department engineering pillars/li liWork collaboratively with site teams to ensure team goals are always achieved./li liSupport the engineering Stores Manager with day to day tasks as an when required/li/ulpstrongSkills & Knowledge:/strong/pul liKnowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques./li liAble to cope under pressure and flex with peaks in personal workload./li liAble to use, create, understand, and act upon trends from management operating systems./li liAble to anticipate / identify problems and own them through to conclusion; reflecting on process in order to share learning./li liAbility and attitude to gain the respect and credibility in areas of expertise with site teams./li liComputer literate/li liExperienced in leading others, even without formal reporting lines and including specifically driving performance./li liAnalytical and problem-solving skills./li liBeing able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment./li liMust have a challenge mindset and positive outlook on driving change./li/ulpstrongQualifications/strong/pul liTime served Multiskilled Engineer/li liFood Safety Level 3./li liRCA training/li/ulp/p
