Duties & Responsibilities * Issuing spares to meet work order requirements * Accurate cycle counting * Maintain and propose changes to the re‑ordering system as required * Communicate stock shortages in a timely manner to maintain agreed stock levels * Ensure the stores area is clean and tidy * Receive and check goods into the department; verify delivery note matches purchase order and highlight any discrepancies in line with corporate governance role D – Inventory (Purchase to Pay Cycle – Goods and Services) * Dispatch items for repair as required * Process work orders within the department when required * Issue relevant stock movement reports in the absence of the purchasing controller (engineering) * Any other reasonable duties as requested * Meet KPIs: Safety Index Target achieved; Technical Index targets (FSQI and PQI) achieved; Stock Accuracy * Take responsibility for, and promote workplace organisation * People: People management not part of role * Environment: Optimise energy usage, reduce carbon footprint, and actively seek to reduce negative environmental impact such as waste reduction and recycling * Strive for continuous improvement Essential Skills * Attention to detail * Strong interpersonal skills * Good literacy and numeracy skills * Full driving licence * Knowledge of inventory management techniques * Ability to plan and organise own workload methodically * Able to work on own initiative * High degree of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems/ERP systems * Ability to produce reports and manage computer systems using Word, Excel, and similar office applications * Strong desire for continuous improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr
