We are currently recruiting a Site Services Team Lead to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe - Dungannon. Key aspects of the role will require the job holder to work independently and to build and maintain good working relationships with production management and give technical advice to production when required. The job role is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying degrees of light and heat. The nature of the job demands contact with greasy/dirty substances and sometimes within proximity of poultry entrails, meat and other substances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding repairs (Various Types).
  • Operation and maintenance of steam boilers, ventilation systems, refrigeration systems, fluid transfer systems, vacuum systems, heating systems, hot and cold-water systems and effluent treatment systems.
  • Working with Mechanical Drive systems.
  • Working with Pneumatics.
  • Preventative Maintenance.
  • Pipe-fitting.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Must be a Time/Skill-Served Engineer with 4 years industrial experience.
  • A mechanical/plumbing aptitude is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Steam Generation is essential.
  • Knowledge of Refrigeration Systems is essential.
  • Knowledge of Effluent Treatment plant is essential.
  • Must be able to diagnose and solve problems.
  • IT Literate.
  • The ability to make decisions is essential.
  • The ability to organise time is essential.
  • Experience within a Food Processing Industry.
  • Flexibility on working hours.
