We are looking for a dedicated Process Operative to join our Process 2 and Debone department for Team B at Pilgrim's Europe - Dungannon. In this role, you will be responsible for processing products in your department while ensuring that hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are always maintained. A key part of this role is working as part of a team to achieve production KPIs.

Work pattern: Team B 06:00 - 18:00
Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
Week 2: Wed, Thurs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out processing duties (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering or evisceration - depending on the area of work).
  • Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Produce a high standard of work consistently.
  • Perform packaging, labelling, and boxing tasks.
  • Work in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Cooperate with managers and colleagues to achieve a safe and productive workplace.
  • Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
  • Work in a safe manner and comply with Company Health & Safety Rules.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment provided.
  • Report incidents or hazards immediately.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Ability to read and write.
  • Numeracy skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • English language proficiency.

Desirable:

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • A food hygiene qualification.
  • Awareness of Food Processing industry standards.
  • Knife handling experience.
  • Previous experience in a butchery or food processing environment.
