We are currently recruiting a Key Skilled Operative to join our Wholebird team in Pilgrim's Europe - at Dungannon site. The successful candidates will be responsible for processing product within their department and ensuring hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are maintained at all times. A key element of the role is working as part of a team to ensure that production KPIs are met.

- Working hours: Team B, 06:00am - 18:00pm. Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun; Week 2: Wed, Thurs
Key Responsibilities:
- Product processing (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering, evisceration - depending on area of work)
- Responsibility for personal health & safety and that of other colleagues
- Ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved
- Maintaining hygiene standards
- Product packaging and boxing
- Product weighing
- Rotation of duties and flexibility to support other areas of the factory
- Meeting productivity standards
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently (training provided)
- Carrying out any additional duties as required
What We're Looking For:
- Essential: Ability to read and write in English (depending on area of work); Good numeracy and communication skills; Willingness to work in a factory environment
- Desirable: Previous food production or factory experience; Awareness of the Food Processing Industry; Knife skills or previous experience in butchery; Data entry / computer keyboard skills
