We are currently recruiting Key Skilled Operatives to join our Debone X-Ray Team C in Pilgrim's Europe - at Dungannon site. The successful candidates will be responsible for processing product within their department and ensuring hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are maintained at all times. A key element of the role is working as part of a team to ensure that production KPIs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product processing (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering, evisceration - depending on area of work)
  • Responsibility for personal health & safety and that of other colleagues
  • Ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved
  • Maintaining hygiene standards
  • Product packaging and boxing
  • Product weighing
  • Rotation of duties and flexibility to support other areas of the factory
  • Meeting productivity standards
  • Operating machinery safely and efficiently (training provided)
  • Carrying out any additional duties as required

Essential

  • Ability to read and write in English (depending on area of work)
  • Good numeracy and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a factory environment

Desirable

  • Previous food production or factory experience
  • Awareness of the Food Processing Industry
  • Knife skills or previous experience in butchery
  • Data entry / computer keyboard skills
