We are currently recruiting for Hygiene Operative Nights for team A and team B to join our Team at Pilgrim's Europe Dungannon site. The job is performed both within the factory departments and also outdoors. The job holder is required to effectively clean meeting the hygiene standards outlined in the Hygiene manual. Also, the role entails the responsibility for processing product in their department and ensuring that hygiene, quality and health and safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean according to the cleaning manual and hygiene standards.
- Dismantling and re-building of production machinery.
- Product processing as and when required, whilst maintaining hygiene, food safety and animal welfare standards.
- To ensure food safety and integrity at all times.
Working hours:
- Team A Week 1: Sunday (6:15pm - 5:15am), Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - 5:45pm - 5:15am
- Week 2: Sunday (6:15pm - 5:15am), Monday & Tuesday - 5:45pm - 5:15am
- Team B Week 1: Thursday, Friday - 5:45pm - 5:15am, Saturday (6:15pm - 5:15am)
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 5:45pm - 5:15am, Saturday (6:15pm - 5:15am)
Essential Criteria:
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be numerate
- Must have good communication skills
- The ability to think clearly is essential
- English language (pending on area of work)
Desirable Criteria:
- Good manual dexterity
- The ability to work on own initiative
- Good interpersonal skills
- An awareness of the Food Processing Industry
- Previous work experience in the factory
- The ability to work as a team member
- The ability to solve problems
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety Regulations
- Knowledge of the cleaning chemicals
