We're looking for a time-served Electrical Engineer with strong industrial experience to join our engineering team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Chargehand and Engineering Coordinators, you'll work closely with Production to keep site machinery running safely, efficiently and reliably.

What you'll be doing:

  • Electrical installation work (Single & Three Phase)
  • Fault finding and maintenance on PLC-controlled machinery
  • Diagnostics on Single & Three Phase motors
  • Preventative Maintenance and associated documentation
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
  • Supporting continuous improvement and re-engineering activities
  • Scale calibration and general electrical maintenance
  • Providing technical support to Production when required

What we're looking for:

Essential

  • Time/Skill-served Electrician
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Proven industrial electrical experience
  • Strong fault-finding skills on automated machinery
  • Experience with Single & Three Phase motors
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • Good problem-solving and reasoning skills

Desirable

  • Experience within food or FMCG manufacturing environments
