About the Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Agriculture Training Assistant to join our Learning & Development function. This role plays a vital part in delivering an efficient, accurate and audit-ready training service, supporting compliance and continuous improvement across the agriculture function. Working closely with the L&D Coordinator, you will take ownership of training records, documentation and systems, ensuring all learning activity is recorded accurately and meets regulatory and audit standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills, an interest in training, and a proactive, team-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the L&D Coordinator with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Ensure all training documents are current, controlled and compliant
- Maintain accurate assessment and competency records to audit-ready standards
- Update training completion accurately and promptly on the Learning Management System (LMS)
- File and record all training documentation, assessments and certificates correctly
- Obtain PO numbers for training and file all associated paperwork
- Support new starter inductions as required
- Produce KPI reports and track completed and outstanding training
- Communicate pending changes, training priorities and current issues
- Arrange and evaluate internal and external training, assessing effectiveness
- Take minutes during meetings
- Undertake any additional duties required to support the needs of the role
What You'll Bring:
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience using LMS or training databases
- Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Professional manner and confidence handling confidential information
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Training or L&D background (desirable)
