We're looking for a proactive and reliable Key Operative to support the smooth running of our Hatchery.
This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, offering variety across key areas including supervision, egg handling, chick despatch, and quality control.
The Key Operative works as a member of a team of hatchery operatives, reporting to the management team.
Effective liaison, team working and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff is essential Competencies, Knowledge and Experience required: Must be literate and numerate.
Must be able to think clearly.
Must be able to work as a team member.
Must have a positive attitude to work and others Good manual dexterity is essential.
Good level of English is essential Good time keeping is essential Basic Computer literacy is beneficial Previous hatchery experience is desirable.
Previous supervisory/people management experience is desirable.
Good communication skills are essential.
The ability to work on own initiative is essential The ability to organise and prioritise work is essential Ability to solve problems essential Mechanical aptitude essential Positive attitude to work and others is essential.
