Are you a passionate food safety professional ready to make a real impact? We are looking for an experienced Food Safety & Quality Manager to lead standards, strengthen systems and shape a strong food safety culture within a fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing site. This is a highly visible leadership role offering autonomy, influence and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across the factory.
The Role
- Lead and evolve the site HACCP-based Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with BRC, customer and legal standards.
- Be hands-on across the factory, driving excellent hygiene, housekeeping and food safety standards.
- Lead investigations, corrective actions and improvements related to non-conforming product, incidents and customer feedback.
- Analyse microbiological and chemical data, identifying trends and preventative actions.
- Manage, coach and develop a team of Technical professionals.
- Act as the technical lead during customer, third-party and regulatory audits.
- Drive meaningful product, process and sustainability improvements.
- Play a key role in crisis management and site-wide food safety leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a Food Safety, Quality or Technical Manager role within FMCG food manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, Food Legislation, Food Hygiene and ISO standards.
- 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Advanced HACCP, Advanced Food Hygiene and Internal Auditing experience.
- A confident leader with excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
