We’re looking for an experienced <b>HR Business Partner</b> to join our <b>People, Culture & Experience team</b>, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive performance, engagement and growth.</p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p>As our <b>HR Business Partner</b>, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the site’s people strategy.

Working directly with the <b>Site Director and Leadership Team</b>, you’ll provide expert guidance, drive cultural initiatives, and ensure operational excellence across all HR activities.</p> <p>This is a <b>high‑impact, strategic and hands‑on role</b> where you will influence decision‑making, improve employee experience, and help position the site as an <b>employer of choice</b>.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <h2>Strategic Partnering & Workforce Planning</h2> <ul> <li>Partner with senior leadership to deliver the Group People Strategy</li> <li>Lead manpower planning, organisational design, and succession planning</li> <li>Identify talent gaps and work with recruitment teams to proactively address them</li> <li>Drive change management initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce cost</li> </ul> <h2>Employee Relations</h2> <ul> <li>Lead and support complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability)</li> <li>Monitor absence trends and drive proactive interventions</li><li>Ensure compliance with employment law, policies, and procedures</li> <li>Build strong relationships with unions and employee forums</li> </ul> <h2>Engagement, Culture & Wellbeing</h2> <ul> <li>Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition programmes</li> <li>Lead DE&I initiatives and drive participation across the site</li> <li>Strengthen community partnerships, including schools and local organisations</li> <li>Promote a positive, inclusive, high‑performance culture aligned with company values</li> </ul> <h2>Learning & Development</h2> <ul> <li>Drive development planning, performance reviews, and talent frameworks</li> <li>Coach and mentor leaders to build capability</li> <li>Support early careers programmes, apprenticeships, and training initiatives</li> <li>Maximise use of development resources including levy‑funded programmes</li> </ul> <h2>Systems, Data & Compliance</h2> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate HR systems and workforce data</li> <li>Produce insightful KPI reports to inform decision‑making</li> <li>Lead HR input into audits and ensure full compliance with standards</li> </ul> <h2>What We’re Looking For</h2> <h2>Essential</h2> <ul> <li>Proven experience in HR Business Partnering</li> <li>Strong background in employee relations within manufacturing or FMCG</li> <li>Solid knowledge of UK employment law</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure</li> </ul> <h2>Desirable</h2> <ul> <li>CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience</li> <li>Experience with HR systems (e. g., Resource Link, SAP)</li> <li>Leadership or coaching qualifications</li> </ul> <h2>Key Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Strategic thinking & commercial acumen</li> <li>Change management & organisational design</li> <li>Coaching, mentoring & leadership development</li> <li>Data‑driven decision‑making</li> <li>Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills</li> </ul> <h2>What We Offer</h2> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits</li> <li>A strategic, high‑visibility role with real influence</li> <li>Career development and progression opportunities</li> <li>A collaborative and values‑driven culture</li> <li>The chance to shape the future of people strategy on‑site</li> </ul> <h2>Why Join Us?</h2> <p>This is more than an HR role — it’s an opportunity to lead change, shape culture, and make a lasting impact in a business that values its people.</p> <h2>Apply Today</h2> <p>Ready to take the next step in your HR career?
