Are you a passionate food safety professional ready to make a real impact? We are looking for an experienced Food Safety & Quality Manager to lead standards, strengthen systems and shape a strong food safety culture within a fast‑paced FMCG food manufacturing site. This is a highly visible leadership role offering autonomy, influence and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across the factory.

The Role

  • Lead and evolve the site HACCP-based Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with BRC, customer and legal standards.
  • Be hands‑on across the factory, driving excellent hygiene, housekeeping and food safety standards.
  • Lead investigations, corrective actions and improvements related to non‑conforming product, incidents and customer feedback.
  • Analyse microbiological and chemical data, identifying trends and preventative actions.
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of Technical professionals.
  • Act as the technical lead during customer, third‑party and regulatory audits.
  • Drive meaningful product, process and sustainability improvements.
  • Play a key role in crisis management and site‑wide food safety leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Food Safety, Quality or Technical Manager role within FMCG food manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, Food Legislation, Food Hygiene and ISO standards.
  • 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Advanced HACCP, Advanced Food Hygiene and Internal Auditing experience.
  • A confident leader with excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
