We are currently looking for a Slicing Operative to join our Slicing Department in Redruth and help us deliver top-quality bacon products to our customers.

Key Information

  • Earn Big: Competitive hourly rate, with the potential to earn over £590 per week
  • Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
  • Balanced Schedule: We have a shift pattern of 5:15 am - 14:30 pm, Monday to Friday, giving you more time for yourself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visually examine and pack bacon products to meet customer and company standards.
  • Operate machinery and equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Plan work activities and meet production targets related to cost, productivity, waste, quality, and safety.
  • Monitor and control quality by checking weights, visual standards, and specifications.
  • Record production data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Maintain high hygiene and safety standards in work areas.
  • Communicate improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out cleaning and maintenance of equipment/work areas as needed.
