  • We are looking for a

Mill Operative Plus to join our team at Ashbourne Feed Mill to support the Team Leader in the safe and efficient production of poultry feed, ensuring production targets, quality standards and housekeeping requirements are met.

Working closely with colleagues across the mill and wider business, the role contributes to smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, welfare and continuous development.

Opportunities are available to grow skills and progress through Pilgrim's Europe's Agriculture Academy.

Responsibilities

As a Mill Operative Plus, you will work closely with the Team Leader to support production activities across the mill. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the safe and efficient production of poultry feed.
  • Sampling and inspecting incoming raw materials.
  • Maintaining raw material stocks and ensuring production bins remain supplied.
  • Adding supplements and additives accurately to production batches.
  • Monitoring production processes and reporting issues promptly.
  • Supporting cleanliness and housekeeping standards throughout the mill.
