We’re looking for an experienced Machine Minder / Machine Operator to monitor and assess the production process of primary poultry products within required product and customer specifications and to tight deadlines. As a Machine Minder, you will be required to work as a member of a team of operatives (varying in size) reporting to the Operations Team Lead. You will be responsible for the set-up and effective operation of process machinery in order to achieve production targets and quality standards. Effective liaison, teamwork and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff is fundamental.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Shift: Nights, Monday to Friday, 16:45 - 01:15
Pay Rate: £16.30 - £16.95 per hour
What We're Looking For:
- Good level of English
- Strong mechanical skills
- Interest in maintenance and machinery
- Flexible, reliable and willing to learn
- Positive attitude and good team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (FMCG experience desirable)
- Comfortable working in a lairage environment involving live birds
- Ideally hold FLT (Fork Lift Truck) experience
- Confident completing paperwork, records and pre-start checks accurately
- Willing to develop knowledge and understanding of animal welfare and site procedures
