Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Location: Craigavon

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to support the Category Planning Lead. This role is key to enhancing productivity, improving customer service, optimising stock levels, and minimising waste across the supply chain. You\’ll play a vital part in driving performance through effective planning and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Capacity Management

• Create and publish balanced weekly mid-term (24-week) capacity plans, including inter-site demand.
• Assist with short-term (14-day) capacity planning and resolve supply/demand issues.
• Support regional supply planning controllers in the S&OP cycle.

Operational Support

• Maintain and communicate planning assumptions with stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve capacity bottlenecks and supply risks.
• Balance supply across sites to meet demand forecasts.
• Review demand forecasts and assess operational impact.
• Approve or recommend promotional activities within supply constraints.
• Identify commercial opportunities and coordinate with revenue optimisation teams.
• Provide cover for planning or service controllers when needed.

Demand Management & New Product Launches

• Collaborate with NPD, demand planning, and commercial teams to communicate launch plans.
• Integrate customer data (EPOS/Waste) into operational plans.
• Lead or represent supply chain initiatives (e.g. BBQ, Christmas, new customer introductions).

Inventory Management

• Analyse and manage aged/obsolete stock.
• Communicate product lifecycle issues.

Performance & Reporting

• Develop and report on key supply KPIs including:
• Service level performance
• Forecast accuracy
• Inventory levels
• Planning master data accuracy

Process Improvement

• Support the development of supply planning processes.
• Maintain planning tools and spreadsheets to improve team efficiency.

• Adopt new supply chain planning technologies.

• General

• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for all.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years\’ experience in a supply chain role
• Strong knowledge of MRP and forecasting/planning systems
• Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Influential and respected among peers
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
• Highly IT literate with advanced Excel skills (including basic VBA)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
