We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer at our Westerleigh site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a team working across a designated shift pattern and providing support across the site including our Abattoir, Butchery and Packing Departments.
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern
You Will Be:
- Excellent fault finders with strong mechanical skills.
- Knowledgeable in pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs.
- Accurate in recording all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system.
- Possessing strong computer skills.
The Engineering department is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore applicants will be required to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors.
- A flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall needs of the business are met.
Ideally, applicants will have direct experience of working with food processing and packaging equipment; however, familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.
Qualifications: A recognised qualification for mechanical and electrical engineering.
