Role Purpose
Manage the site Quality Assurance System, audits, and compliance with food safety standards (BRC, HACCP, customer requirements). Drive continuous improvement and lead the QA team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain BRC Global Standard and HACCP systems.
- Conduct internal audits and hygiene checks; implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance for new products, packaging, and testing requirements.
- Manage pest control, traceability, and external lab testing.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues; handle customer complaints.
- Liaise with suppliers/customers and support audits.
- Lead and develop QA team; ensure audit readiness and health & safety.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree/HND in Food Science or equivalent.
- Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP; internal auditing qualification.
- FMCG experience; knowledge of food safety legislation.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel; SAP experience desirable.
