An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and passionate individual with a drive to succeed, to join a global company at their site in Ballymena for Prep Evening Shift.
Working Hours: Evening Shift Sunday - Thursday 3pm - 11.30pm
The job of Production Operative is to carry out all duties relating to the efficient and effective running of the allocated work area to meet the Section's objectives in line with the overall Company goals and objectives.
Some of the role duties and responsibilities are listed below:
- Carry out all allocated duties in the designated work area in accordance with operating procedures and management instructions to produce the product according to customer specifications and key performance indicators.
- Ensure that work rates, production targets, hygiene, quality and housekeeping standards are met and maintained.
- Co-operate in the smooth running of the area, avoiding double handling, waste, and ensuring a level of good housekeeping.
- Observe all safety rules and procedures, ensuring that the work area, equipment and materials are left in a safe state; and that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of all fellow employees and any other persons within the work area.
Essential criteria:
- A good level of English both written and verbal.
- The ability to work in a chilled environment.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and ability to use own initiative.
Desirable criteria:
- Previous experience working within a factory environment.
