We are looking for a Bacon Service Operator to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe - Redruth. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our production process. As a Bacon Service Operator, you will be responsible for supplying bacon to the slicing lines in line with customer specifications. You will ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met while maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.

- Shift: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 05:00 am - 14:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise daily work activities to meet production schedules and targets.
- Prepare and manually slice bacon as required.
- Check products and materials against quality standards.
- Supply products to the slicing line efficiently and to specification.
- Minimise re-work and ensure no frozen product is used.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Work as part of a team to operate and support machinery.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- 6-12 months' experience in operations or similar work environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
- Manual handling and practical problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of food safety and health & safety (H&S).
- Willingness to learn and be trained in required skills.
