Are you an experienced Multiskilled Engineer looking for a varied role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a proactive and hands-on engineer to join our team at Ashbourne Feed Mill, playing a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the feed mill.
  • Maintain and support a robust breakdown call-out system to minimise downtime.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance and key KPIs.
  • Ensure all pressure systems comply with legal and insurance requirements.
  • Support maintenance purchasing and spare parts stock control within budget.
  • Manage and maintain the site Permit to Work system.
  • Assist in coaching and mentoring colleagues where required.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company standards.
  • Provide out-of-hours support for breakdowns when required.

Essential

  • BTEC Level 4 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Electrical qualification to 17th Edition standard.
  • Mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience in a similar maintenance engineering role.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with boilers and pressure systems.
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Understanding of budget control and maintenance cost management.
