Electrical Engineer

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in keeping our production facility running efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain and repair production machinery and site equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
- Support maintenance activities across different areas of the site as required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
What We're Looking For
? Time-served / skilled electrician with industrial experience
? NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification
? 18th/19th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
? Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical installations and safety control systems
? Experience with PLC diagnostics and fault finding
? Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
? Strong planning and organisational abilities
? Self-motivated with a proactive and enthusiastic approach
? Previous experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment, ideally food production
