We are seeking an Agriculture Co-ordinator to join our team. This role will support and manage IPPC & planning applications for our NI Farm Estate and new applicants as part of our planned expansion. You will also assist with internal and external environmental projects, ensuring compliance and best practices across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete IPPC applications for new and existing poultry sites.
- Provide information for permit consultations and liaise with NIEA-IPRI team.
- Assist with planning applications and coordinate environmental reports (air dispersion, noise modelling, ecology, drainage, archaeology).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote health, safety, and environmental standards across operations.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, growers, and external consultants.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Third-level qualification.
- Strong knowledge of farm/agricultural operations (preferably poultry supply chain), infrastructure delivery, and environmental standards.
- Full driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Understanding of broiler operations and biosecurity.
- Computer literacy.
- Evidence of initiative and ability to manage routine tasks.
