Benefits £12 per hour Overtime payable at £18 per hour Opportunity to develop via our bespoke Agriculture Academy Joining as one of our Farm Assistants and you will help and support the farm management team to enable the smooth running of the Laying Farm, to produce the maximum number of high-quality hatching eggs, with high hatchability. In this varied role, no two days will be the same, as you will be involved in egg collecting including nest and floor eggs, grading, sanitising, site preparation and reassembly, data handling, handling birds, blood sampling, bird weighing, drinker cleaning and general housekeeping. You could say, you’ll become an eggspert of poultry in Moy Park – Pilgrims Europe! We’re looking for individuals who can work with minimal supervision and enjoy a ‘hands-on’ role in a farming environment. A keen interest in farming, where animal welfare is of the upmost most importance will mean that you match our values and your passion for learning will ensure that you can continue to acquire new skills.
