Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Excel Expert with advanced experience in Power BI, Power Pivot, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust data models, building automated workflows, and delivering insightful reporting solutions that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Excel workbooks, dashboards, and data models.
  • Design and implement automated processes using VBA, macros, and other scripting tools.
  • Build interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Use Power Pivot to create data models, manage relationships, and write DAX calculations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Clean, transform, and analyse large datasets from various sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and tools.
  • Troubleshoot existing Excel, BI, or automation solutions and recommend improvements.
  • Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, advanced data manipulation, and statistical functions.
  • Strong experience designing and deploying Power BI dashboards (including DAX).
  • Proficiency with Power Pivot and data modelling concepts.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain VBA scripts and complex automation macros.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and connect to external data sources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of complexity and variability.
