Supply Chain and Planning Coordinator (FTC 12 months)
We are looking to recruit an individual to support and carry out administrative tasks for the Supply Chain and Planning team within the Agricultural business. This role would require the job holder to act as a key point of contact, supporting on a day-to-day basis the Supply Chain and Planning Manager as well as providing general administrative support for the team. They will have the opportunity to become involved in key aspects of our business which would include:
  • Support with scheduling deliveries to our food processing sites and liaising with site teams
  • Producing information to measure supply chain and KPI efficiencies
  • Maintaining Database for farm assurance certificates
  • Setting up new farmers on the system and updating farm assurance records
  • Communicating with farmers to follow up on queries
  • Managing pig movement records
We are looking for a collaborative team player who is able to prioritise, enjoys the challenge of working in a busy office environment and has proven written/verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with our farming community and internal teams. You must be analytical, have attention to detail, sound problem solving skills and able to work independently. You must also have experience of working confidently with bespoke computer systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small supportive team, in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and where there is an opportunity to develop further with an apprenticeship programme.
