About The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Lead, the Supply Chain Finance Analyst will support the Supply Chain Finance Lead & Supply Chain Accountant in the delivery of key deadlines. The Supply Chain Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing detailed analysis of data to enable business decisions and deliver key objectives, as well ensuring that key controls are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month end preparation - work with key stakeholders to ensure accurate cost detail / cost tracking and accruals are captured.
  • Maintain relevant accrual and cost tracking documents.
  • Support Supply Chain Accountant on all forecast / budget processes.
  • Support Finance Lead to deliver accurate financial reporting, including detailed variance analysis.
  • Work closely with the Logistics team to review costs.
  • Proactively look for improvement opportunities in logistics accounting and control processes.
  • Support the Supply Chain Accountants and Finance Lead to embed standardisation and consistent ways of working across Pilgrim's Europe.
  • Support with all SOX and standard internal controls as required.
  • Support on external and internal audit processes as required relating to Supply Chain Finance.
  • Carry out ad hoc projects as required.
  • Any other reasonable duties as may be required.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in finance.
  • Experience of working in Supply Chain/Logistics finance ideal.
  • Continuous improvement mindset in processes and ways of working.
  • Good analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Able to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Ability to travel across the group.
  • Part-qualified working or working towards a recognized Accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
