Maintenance Manager
Location: Ruskington
We’re looking for a driven and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead site maintenance operations and develop a high-performing engineering team. You’ll be instrumental in moving the site away from reactive repairs and towards a culture of continuous improvement, reliability, and ownership.
Working closely with production and senior leadership, you’ll ensure the site operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance while delivering improved equipment performance and uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the maintenance team to deliver site objectives
- Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring full statutory and legislative compliance
- Improve reliability through effective PPM delivery and rapid breakdown response
- Champion continuous improvement and lean ways of working
- Manage contractors, permits to work, and safe systems of work
- Maintain plant, equipment, utilities, and building fabric to a high standard
- Ensure availability of critical spares to protect production continuity
- Step in operationally when required, leading by example
About You
- Proven experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and engineering best practice
- Confident leader with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable balancing people management with hands-on technical support
Qualifications
- HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled Engineering
- NEBOSH Certificate in Health & Safety
