Overview

We have exciting opportunities for Line Leaders to join our Operations team in Pilgrim\’s Europe – Moy Park at Ballymena site. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the production department, ensuring targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Information

  • Competitive pay: £13.14 per hour
  • Permanent, stable employment
  • Supportive and safe working environment
  • Shifts available:
  • Rotating – week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am-7pm; week 2: Wednesday, Thursday 7am-7pm
  • Fixed Shift – Monday to Friday 6pm-2am

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the efficient running of the production line.
  • Lead and support operatives to achieve daily targets for production, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Manage and monitor work rates, hygiene, housekeeping, and technical standards.
  • Report and address machinery breakdowns, faults, or other issues in collaboration with engineering staff.
  • Assist in training, discipline, and grievance handling where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Promote a safe working environment, ensuring all team members are trained and compliant with H&S procedures.

Essential

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Good level of English (verbal, written & reading).
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Good team player with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with good decision-making skills.
  • Strong timekeeping and commitment to quality.

Desirable

  • Previous supervisory experience in a poultry/meat or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a supervisory role.
