We have exciting opportunities for Skilled Butchers to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe Spalding site! Within our Butchery Department, we are looking for talented people to join us as skilled butchers cutting, trimming & deboning pork shoulders, legs and middles.

Competitive guaranteed hourly rate of pay! Voluntary Overtime & Weekend hours paid at Premium Rates!

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent/Direct

Shift: Monday to Friday

Additional Productivity Bonus! In addition to your hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive discretionary productivity and quality bonus once you’re signed off on minimum required task jobs on bonus lines. Responsibilities:

  • Cut, bone and trim meat (pork)
  • Remove bones and excess fat, gristle, and bruises to meet specific, high-quality, or lean product requirements
  • Accurately cut and weigh meat to meet predetermined weight and size specifications
  • Ensure work is carried out to the best of your abilities to meet production deadlines
  • Comply with Company policies, Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards at all times, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Proven experience as a pork butcher or meat processor in Food Manufacturing
  • Manual handling
