OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to join our team at Pilgrim\'s Europe, Dungannon, supporting and driving the site in Health, Safety and Environmental performance. This is a development and support role within the Fresh Poultry Business Unit and will directly report into the facility HSE Manager, advising and coaching on health, safety and environmental practices, compliance and governance.The successful candidate will significantly contribute to the shaping of the business health, safety, and environmental agenda and to the evolution of the proactive safety culture on site, in line with the Go for Zero strategy. The HSE Officer will engage with the functional areas to eliminate or reduce risk and also minimize the site\\\'s environmental footprint.AccountabilitiesProvide guidance, support and advice across all site functions and empower front line managers to ensure \\\'Safety is a Condition\\\' within the facility, through safe working practices, equipment, and facilities.Communicate effectively with key internal & external stakeholders on risks, issues and key changes required in reference to HSE standards, legal compliance, systems implementations, security provision etc.Complete regular inspections of the facility on a periodic basis, respond to requests for support, and support the HSE function on both internal and external audit programs. (ISO 45001, 14001, Insurance Inspections etc.)Support and educate on areas of risk with regards to the facility.Support the Go For Zero Strategy with Central HSE functionThe ideal candidate will be NEBOSH General Certificate qualified or equivalent and have the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to the fast paced and ever-changing environment.
