We are looking for a fully qualified Halal Slaughter person to join our dedicated team in Llanidloes to process in accordance with Islamic rites and our own high animal welfare standards. We implement strict codes of practice and policies to protect both animal welfare and the Halal standard.
Working Hours: Starting at 06:00am - until production is finished - Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities:
- At the direction of the Production Manager or their deputy, humanely kill the lambs quickly, cleanly and painlessly whilst they are unconscious.
- Responsible for ensuring all tasks are carried out within the allocated work area, done so in a manner to protect product safety, authenticity and quality in accordance with the Food Safety Quality Management Systems (FSQM).
