Job Title: Finance Lead

Purpose of the Role
Are you a seasoned finance professional ready to lead a high-performing team and drive excellence in financial reporting across a dynamic European business landscape?
We’re looking for a Finance Lead to join our Financial Services team and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to key stakeholders across Europe and the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to the European Leadership Team, Financial Services Leadership, and Pilgrim’s Pride US.
- Ensure consistency in accounting policies and SOX controls across European entities.
- Lead statutory reporting, audits, and HMRC disclosures.
- Manage and develop a team of 20+ finance professionals.
- Build strong relationships between European Business Units and Financial Services.
- Support the Director of Financial Services in evolving the function and delivering strategic projects.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for European Business Units.
- Ensure accuracy in group consolidation and intercompany eliminations across multi-currency entities.
- Oversee completion of statutory accounts and audits.
- Manage fixed and leased assets across all business units.
- Ensure compliance with group reporting timetables and disclosure requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior finance leaders and auditors.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge existing processes and drive improvements.
