Are you an experienced leader with a passion for food safety and high standards? Pilgrim’s Europe is looking for a Hygiene Manager to lead our dedicated Hygiene Team at our Redruth site.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the site Hygiene team, ensuring all areas and machinery are microbiologically clean and audit-ready.
- Oversee deep cleans, periodical schedules and daily hygiene operations.
- Control hygiene labour, budgets, PPE, chemicals and consumables.
- Work closely with suppliers to review and improve standards.
- Manage recruitment, training and development within the Hygiene team.
- Support site food safety systems, HACCP and internal/external audits.
- Drive continuous improvements in cleaning procedures and hygiene policies.
- Ensure robust pest control systems are in place and effective.
- Communicate effectively with operations teams to ensure smooth handovers.
- Lead by example to promote a strong food safety and health culture.
