We are currently looking to recruit a Free Range Business Development Fields Person
The key objectives of this role is to develop relationships with our Free range producers to facilitate and advise on the implementation of best husbandry practice, welfare standards, and adherence to other internal and external assurance standards.
You will be responsible for locating and assessing potential land opportunities to grow the free range production. During this period of growth you will also be supporting our other third party farmers.
You will also ensure that the logistics of the free range supply chain runs smoothly including assisting with transport arrangements, forecasting and the provision of statistic for different business models. You will also ensure that cost of production is effectively managed in accordance with budget and key KPIs
A split between field base and office, based ideally in the Stradbroke area the successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of practical pig production, have a good network of contacts within agriculture, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be commercially minded, and can build long term business relationships.
A full clean UK drivers\β licence is a must.
