We are recruiting a Market Intelligence Analyst to join the Procurement team at our corporate office in Uxbridge, London. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in economics, knowledge and experience in agricultural commodities and futures markets, who is skilled in data analysis, has excellent forecasting abilities, and can provide insight into grain and oilseed markets to aid risk management and feed procurement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyse economic and market data related to grains and oilseeds
- Automation of data, systems, and process improvement within the feed procurement team
- Forecast market trends and provide actionable insights for risk mitigation
- Contribute to the development of risk management models and tools
- Collaborate with the procurement and commercial teams to align market intelligence with purchasing and trading strategies
- Prepare regular market analysis reports for senior management
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience mandatory
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in statistical software and databases
- Experience in Python coding strongly preferred
- Knowledge of agricultural commodities and futures markets, specifically grains and oilseeds
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to travel as business needs dictate (as a salaried employee)
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Finance, Data Science or a related field
