We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) to join our Transport team in Boston, delivering foodservice products to our customers across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. This is a multi‑drop delivery driver role where you will be the face of the business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries safely, accurately and on time.

About the Role

As an HGV Class 2 multi‑drop driver, you will be responsible for delivering foodservice products to a wide range of hospitality customers, including restaurants, pubs, schools and care homes. This role is hands‑on, involving manual handling and customer interactions throughout the day.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
  • Completing multi‑drop deliveries to hospitality customers
  • Safely unloading goods using appropriate equipment
  • Ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time
  • Providing friendly, professional service as the face of Pilgrim Foodservice
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and driver compliance requirements

Requirements

  • A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Ideally 2+ years experience as an HGV Driver
  • A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The physical capability required for manual handling and foodservice deliveries

Applicants must also meet the company's insurance requirements, and a driving licence check will be completed prior to interview.
