£36,400 guaranteed | £40k+ with overtime

Pilgrim Foodservice is an independent, family-run foodservice wholesaler supplying fresh, chilled, frozen, grocery and non-food products to hospitality customers across the UK. We serve customers across 17 counties and pride ourselves on reliability, quality and long-term relationships.

We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) to join our Transport team in Boston, delivering foodservice products to our customers. This is a multi-drop delivery driver role, where you will be the face of the business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries safely, accurately and on time.

About the Role

As an HGV Class 2 multi-drop driver, you will be responsible for delivering foodservice products to a wide range of hospitality customers including restaurants, pubs, schools and care homes. This role is hands-on and physically active, involving manual handling and customer interaction throughout the day.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries to hospitality customers
  • Safely unloading goods using appropriate equipment
  • Ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time
  • Providing friendly, professional service as the face of Pilgrim Foodservice
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and driver compliance requirements

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The physical capability required for manual handling and foodservice deliveries

Applicants must also meet the company’s insurance requirements, and a driving licence check will be completed prior to interview.
