40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00

Weekend on-call rota required (1 in 3)

Pilgrim Foodservice is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT team supporting users across the business. This is a hands-on 2nd line support role suited to someone confident troubleshooting more complex technical issues while remaining user-focused and proactive. You will work closely with the Infrastructure Lead and wider IT team across day-to-day support, maintenance, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line IT support across the business
  • Act as an escalation point for 1st line support
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
  • Monitor systems and carry out routine maintenance
  • Support user devices, accounts, and access management
  • Assist with IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a 2nd line IT support role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
