Position Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, develops, and implements individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to helping patients achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress
  • Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • Current state SLP license or actively pursuing state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Passion for patient-centered care and rehabilitation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
