Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring smooth day-to-day human resources operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a key member of our leadership support team, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and personnel administration while helping create an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting positions, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Process new hire paperwork, orientation materials, and employment verifications.
  • Assist managers and employees with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Monitor employee certifications, licenses, and required training to ensure compliance.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Assist with payroll-related documentation, timekeeping, and attendance tracking as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations.
  • Perform additional administrative and HR duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous Human Resources experience required; healthcare or skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment practices and HR processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
