Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to support our kitchen team in delivering quality meals and excellent service to our residents. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dietary department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal service and tray setup
  • Wash dishes and operate dishwashing equipment
  • Prepare snacks and nourishments
  • Clean kitchen, work surfaces, and equipment
  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain sanitation standards
  • Monitor and record dishwasher temperatures and sanitation levels
  • Properly store food and supplies
  • Remove trash and maintain a clean environment
  • Support cooks and dietary supervisor as needed
  • Follow all food safety and infection control guidelines

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s Certificate
  • Previous food service or healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Compassion for an underserved population
