- Position Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and well-being.
Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will help ensure residents receive the highest quality of care throughout the night.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff.
- Respond to call lights and resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Provide assistance with meals and hydration as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies.
- Promote resident dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.
- Previous skilled nursing or sub-acute experience preferred, but not required.
